The Women Who Will, 2019
The Women Who Will is an inspiring project that made us jump to the opportunity to showcase our work, which can be seen on Maggie O’Neill’s website. We take pride in empowering our local entrepreneurs, artists, and creative minds by creating awe-inspiring and visually stunning art that captivates audiences.
I am intensely proud to be a woman entrepreneur and business owner in Washington, DC, so when asked to create a mural by Lyft & Tishman Speyer that highlights DC women-owned businesses, I jumped at the idea. I thought that the image of “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” was inspiring with a rich metaphor for what is required to build anything. The camaraderie, risk, and courage it takes to work together and the results that you can expect from that hard work. It made sense to re-imagine this image with women working over the DC cityscape.
